Our monthly fishing subscription is designed for young anglers who want to learn more about fishing, understand the water and wildlife around them, and develop the skills to think for themselves on the bank.
Each month, a new fishing pack arrives through the post, packed with information, activities, challenges and collectable resources. It combines fishing, nature, watercraft, problem-solving and safety in a way that encourages children to get away from screens and learn through real-world experiences.
You don't need to be an experienced angler to help them either. Parent guides and answer sheets are included, giving you the answers and explanations you need to work through the activities together.
What's inside each month?
Fish Species Collector's Card – Each month introduces a different fish species, including where it lives, what it eats, how to identify it and how anglers can catch it. Each laminated card features a diagram created from original artwork by us, making them something children can collect month after month.
Sharing the Bank Collector's Card – Fishing isn't only about the fish. Each month we'll explore a plant or animal you might encounter while fishing, whether it's harmless, something to be cautious around, and what to do if you encounter it.
Fishing Log – Record fishing sessions, including the weather, water conditions, venue, method, bait, tackle, catches and observations. Over time, children can begin looking for patterns and learning from their own fishing.
Information Pack – Useful, practical fishing knowledge covering subjects such as watercraft, fish behaviour, tackle, methods, safety and understanding what's happening beneath the surface.
At least 3 activities every month – Challenges designed to make children observe, investigate, solve problems and make decisions rather than simply memorise facts.
Parent Answer & Explanation Guides – You don't need to know anything about fishing yourself. We provide the answers alongside explanations so you can support your child and learn with them.
Monthly Sticker – Because every good fishing pack needs a little something extra!
A New Adventure Every Month
Every month is completely different. Each delivery will feature a new fish species, a new Sharing the Bank species, different fishing knowledge, new activities and challenges, and a new sticker, so there is always something new to discover, learn and collect.
The photographs shown are an example of one month’s subscription box and are intended to give you an idea of the type and quality of content your child will receive. The exact contents will change each month, so future packs will contain different species, activities, information and collectables.
Over time, children will build up their own growing collection of fishing resources while developing their knowledge and skills month by month.
This isn't about sitting at a desk learning how to fish. It's about giving kids the knowledge, curiosity and confidence to get outside and discover it for themselves.
